The third addition to ambitious Amar Ibiza Group's portfolio in Ibiza Town, the seafood restaurant Tradición Samar, is a modern take on a very traditional style.
Situated, just behind Plaza del Parque, in the pedestrianised Calle Jaime I and nestled at the base of the dramatic West wall of Dalt Vila, Manager Juanjo and his friendly and attentive staff welcome you into their bright and clean restaurant.
At the forefront of the restaurant is a bold display of the fresh seafood - showcasing some of the best produce Spain has to offer: from locally caught octopus and red prawns, to oysters and razor clams from Galicia and langoustines from Huelva.
Dishes are a seafood symphony; with ceviche, sushi and tartars prepared in the open kitchen and fish steamed or cooked 'en papillote' to preserve the very flavour of the sea. Moroccan crab, operatically presented on a platter of ice with a chorus of langoustines is Samar's signature dish – try it!
If your taste is for restaurants offering simple dishes prepared to the highest standards in a romantic setting, then Samar should be added to your list.
Starting from the 2nd of November, Tradición Samar offers you the opportunity to enjoy an unusual appetizer - the delicious Krystale oysters accompanied by a glass of cava at the special price of 15€.
Every Thursday evening at Tradición Samar you can enjoy an exquisite and varied Mussel Tasting, accompanied by a glass of wine at the price of € 15.
